Brazilian Algebra Meeting

The Brazilian Algebra Meeting (BAM) is the largest and most traditional conference dedicated to Algebra and its applications in Brazil. Its 28th edition will be organized jointly by ICMC-USP and UFSCar and will take place at ICMC-USP from June 29 to July 3, 2026.

Held biennially since 1972, the meeting plays a central role in fostering collaboration among researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students. It provides an open and stimulating environment for presenting mathematical ideas, ongoing projects, and recent developments in Algebra and related areas.

The primary language of the conference is English, although introductory or elementary minicourses may be offered in Portuguese.
